Shoes shoes shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My lab mates used to call me shopping queen. And I must really confess that I kind of am one serious shopaholic in need of therapy. But I swear I have toned down a lot recently. (serious!) I used to go crazy at Mango and Zara sale every 1/2 yr and spend up to 200+ in each shop.  Now, I barely even hit 50. Good improvement eh? Maybe its age. Or the sorry fact that jobs (or rather money) are hard to come by. Or maybe its the realization that these things don't bring me actual happiness (or rather that my room already bursting at its seams)
Okay. Enough of rambling. I just wanted to show you some of the SHOES I bought this year. It may seem a lot knowing I have only 2 feets. But...I assure you that it is already a HUGE reduction from my old ways.  I'll start with the covered shoes.

Shoes from left to right: Nude Zara heels, white and black flats from Rivers (Perth) and Loafer from John Little.

The Zara heels was priciest of the lot. Think I bought it for about 60? I don't really remember cause it was sometime back last year. I was very into nude heels last year but I didn't have the chance to wear it out till recently...when all my heels were worn to death so I thought it was time to change out all my heels.

I am a "ballet flats person". They are comfortable, nice to chase buses with and doesn't "ice skate" on slippery shopping mall floors especially during wet days. I bought this because I felt that it looks a bit old school. The shoe has a raised part at the sides for the arch of your feet which is good as it supposedly provides more support. I wore it out this morning. I would say I was a disappointed. The back of the shoe does eat into the back of my heel. *ouch*

Next up are loafers. I was looking for these after my Charles and Keith ones died and went to heaven. They were affordable and looks awesome (at least to me). But they haven't pass the comfort test yet as I haven't bring them out for a "test drive". *editted* they were quite comfortable for their first day out.

Last are these 5 dollar sandals I found at Rubi shoes. I am very into the wooden clog thing and at 5 bucks I was thinking why not give it a shot. OH MY GOODNESS....BIG MISTAKE. The straps eat into my skin sooooo bad that I had to buy a slipper to change into on its first day out. I will give it 2 more chances. 3 strikes and it is out. LOL

Okay....that is all for now

Till the next post (which is VERY soon)
