Necklaces

I know this post was supposed to be out there some time ago...but I was waiting for something...and you'll get to see what at the end of this post.

Since I have a lot of accessorises, so I'll be splitting up this post into 3 parts.

First up, necklaces.

I got these from F21 I think...sometime back (undergrad days). I was thinking that everyone needs one of these for a punk rock look or to dress up that plain black tee for a typical casual weekend out.

If you know me (like what my particular friend in the US pointed out), I LOVE my charms and I LOVE my oriental detailed accessorises. So it is no surprise I have one of these kind of necklace. I like the details of the charms. I like the oriental and feminine look of the necklace. And I like the fact that it is rather long and the "chain" are not really "chains". This was bought from F21 sometime back too (undergrad days).

This was a gift by my besties from JC. I haven't worn it yet...I sort of think that it is over the top for daily wear and also...I think that it is too pretty to destroy (just in case) when I do bring it out. I might wanna chain the "string" to a golden chain though.

This is yet another of my feminine long necklace. This was bought in Taiwan. I believe it was under 10 bucks. The quality of the necklace was great. The flower is still nicely intact after 2 plus years. Great buy.

This was a gift from Nic from Diva Australia. I have no idea how much it is but I like it because I have great fun down under and this is a great keepsake.

Okay, you must be thinking...how many of these you have/need. But when I saw this sometime back at F21 (undergrad days) I fell in love with the flower charm you see in the picture. I knew I MUST have it! Don't judge me. LOL

This is a classic and simple piece which my mum bought from Bangkok Thailand for less than 10 buck. Great for daily wear or for simple cocktail dresses.

Sorry for the blur picture. I actually wore this for CNY (despite it being black) and everyone liked it! It is just a simple statement piece (kind of like a little black dress) which you can wear with most simple dresses (except for those over the top dresses). Bought from F21 around 1/2 a yr ago.

Bought this from Taiwan for around 10 bucks. This is mostly a "just for fun" piece. And I felt it looked kinda unique. =)

Bought this 2nd hand for I think 3 bucks. Looks nice but I haven't wore it yet. Any ideas?

I have this thing for "statement" / over the top necklaces these days. And when I saw this necklace at Diva, Jurong Point. I knew I will get it. I was kind of waiting for some kind of promo but I saw that the necklace was quickly selling out therefore I just went and got it at normal retail price: around $20.

Got these from F21 recently. I feel that F21 accessories are a bit more worth it than Diva ones. They typically cost less than 20 bucks (mine were 13-17 dollars) and they usually have a greater variety of stuff to choose from at any point in time. They also update their pieces quite quickly.

I bought this as the charms were really pretty. The necklace is gold (I like gold accessories) and it looks great with a simple work dress/ casual dress.

Wanted to get these for a elegant look with simple cocktail dress. I seldom find pearl necklaces that don't look dated and when I tried on these I knew that I must get these. The necklace is short with multiple overlaying pearls which makes the look a bit modern...unlike the usual one string pearl necklaces.

This necklace really looks nice with most summer casual looks. Gold necklace once again with the nice pinky/coral teardrop pieces.

I was waiting for this!!

Shipment came within 2 weeks. The accessories are kind of affordable. All of them are under 10 USD. It is the shipping that will kill you. I highly suggest buying in HUGE bulk to make the shipping worth it. But for a first time buying from f21.com it was an okay experience.

I LOVE this necklace. OMGness. It is this punk rock piece...yet it is sort of simple enough to spice up a normal tee shirt get up.

I bought this to dress up my black tube cocktail dresses.

Saw this at the local F21. Like the pink overlay detail. Wanted to just get this to chalk up the value to just under 50 bucks.

Okay. THIS IS THE REASON why the experience was ONLY soso. This necklace came with 1 missing chain and some chains that came off. If you look carefully at the middle piece, you'll realise it has one connecting chain missing (I tied it up with string to hold it together).

Still the piece was really awesome and something I did not find at the F21 stores here. The gold is not the over the top flashy gold but a nice matte gold.

I wanted to get a gold "over the top" piece. I choose this as I found it interesting over the net. It didn't dissapoint. The necklace was indeed interesting. Kind of feminine with the pearl and flower details. Oh btw, random note...check out my dog who is sleeping at one corner of my room (seeking shelter/comfort because it was pouring outside...coward doggy)
