US Mini Haul

My friend (the Lab rat a.k.a D) went for a "short" trip in US and Canada recently. She was kind enough to help Nic buy her Clarisonic Mia. I just collect the goods yesterday. D's sister was kind enough to buy me a Beauty Rush Victoria Secret Lipgloss. Thank you D's sister! The Benefit Mascara was a sample by Sephora with the Clarisonic purchase.

The rest of the "mini haul" were gifts from A who lives in the US. Thank you A! M and I have been looking forward to the EOS! The Maybelline cream blush was a request from M as a backup for the one she has been panning (since it is no longer available in Singapore).

The Clarisonic comes in the box as seen above.

This is the inside of the box...with the sample cleanser they provided. The brush provided is for sensitive skin.

I LOVE the magnetic charger! It was pretty fun to play with when we opened up the box and explored the items. No longer you have to plug in the charger like normal handphone/USB cable. It sort of reminded me a lot like Mac products.

This was what that is on the packaging. It says it helps to make pores appear smaller and skin smoother and softer etc etc... I have heard HUGE raves about this. Mainl, the beauty bloggers do agree that it makes skin smoother and softer due to the exfoliating function. For me personally, I am more excited about the fact that this tool helps remove makeup and dirt far more efficiently than hands! Can't wait to start trying this. (Nic gave me exclusive permission =) )

M went ballistics over EOS. Look at the pictures she's taken.

Basically A got us 4 out of the 5 favours that EOS produce for their Lip Balm smooth sphere. According to the EOS (which actually means evolution of smooth) website: http://www.evolutionofsmooth.com/products_lip_sphere.html

These lip balms are supposedly gluten free, paraben free, petrolatum free and phthalate free. They are said to have Shea butter, jojoba oil, & vitamin E and are 95% organic, 100% natural.

I think A bought these from Walgreens. Correct me if I am wrong A!

Left to right: Honeysuckle Honeydew, Lemon Drop, Sweet Mint, Summer Fruit

We have opened up the lip balms to smell them. The best smelling one that we agreed on was the Honeysuckle Honeydew with Summer Fruit next in line. Sweet Mint smell like mint sweets and the Lemon Drop smell a bit like sunblock. M tried on the Sweet Mint and she say that the lip balm gave her lips the immediate minty refreshing feel.

I choose the Honeysuckle Honeydow and Lemon Drop and M took the remaining two.

I choose Honeysuckle Honeydew because I really love things that have the Melon flavour and that the Lemon Drop is the only one with SPF15.

I have not tried them yet but I guess I don't even have to...to find out they will be awesome due to the overwhelming raves about them in the online beauty arena (which tempted me to beg A to buy some for me in the first place).

They are pretty nice smelling, comes in a cute packaging and at around 3.29USD per sphere they won't break your bank anytime soon.

Most importantly...for me...i LOVE the packaging.

I think I have a thing for beauty products packaged in sphere containers. The last two are handcreams.

Okay, if you wanna know more about EOS do drop us comments!

Till then,
J
