Food record to tempt Nic

Just wanted to do something out of the box for once. I'm not a food connoisseur...just an average person doing a record on what I love to eat and not.
Soup Spoon

For all who knows me, they will know that I love my soup spoon. A bowl of their Meatless Minestrone and a cup of their iced lemon tea and I'm set to go. Its a no brainer for me and it won't break my bank. Good food and awesome price. What is there not to like?

Happy Lemon @ Ion Orchard

Tried this yet? This is a bit off from your usual bubble tea. I like this because i'm lactose intolerant and they have a variety of non milk based and refreshing drink with aloe vera bits for me to chew on. I usually get my happy lemon fix from basement of Ion Orchard.

This doesn't have a title because I forgot what is the Japanese shop name at Basement of Ion Orchard as well. The meat had a very porky smell/taste which I didn't like and the price was not exactly ecnomical. But other than that, the meal was a hearty one.

Haagen Dazs @ Wisma Atria

My favourite flavour! Caramel Biscuit and Cream!! =D

Ice Bar @ Jurong Point

The deco was superbly nice with the colourful tables and chairs and the quirky menus. I love the tiles! The dessert was so so. But a nice refreshing (and cool) place to go to when you want to escape from the often than not crowded JP (especially during the weekends). Think its quite popular with student during weekdays.

Freshness Burger @ Nex

Love the idea that they have special mix drink unlike the usually soft drinks that fast food provides. I love hotdogs and the one I ordered was great! Kind of pricey for "fast food" but my boy swears that the beef is quality and tastes different. If you want a different "fast food" experience...i guess you can try this out. I didn't find anything that wasn't nice to chew on there so it's quite a safe bet.

TWG (The wellness group) @ Ion Orchard

Nic blogged about this before. This is the missing picture of our sister's Q dish. I tried it on another ocassion when I was there with my boy and I didn't like it that day. I felt that the seafood tasted "fishy"? But as mentioned, eating there is more of an experience than filling up your tummy. But I recommend it as an exposure to maybe a typical 'atas' english fine dining? Price is bank breakable if you are on a budget...beware

P/s: I'm REALLY a huge tea fan and their tea is SUPERB. So even if you are nt keen on their high tea sets or main course. TRY THEIR TEA! (~$11 a pot)

Talking about all these food has made me hungry..I'm off to eat
Are you tempted Nic?

Till then,
J
