Makeup Base and Concealers (Part 2)

This is a "sequal" to my foundation post as I am still covering items that are concerned with base make up.

Dior Diorskin Radiant Base

I made a boo boo with this purchase. I didn't expect this makeup base to lighten my Dior foundation one tone lighter than its current shade when set. O_O Overall oil control is good. Does brighten up my skin in areas that I wish to look radiant. Has SPF 20. Not suitable for me to use for the entire face. Will only use it on areas that requires the additional radiance. As you can see from my hand swatch. It doesn't conceal although it is tinted. It only makes the area looks brighter.

Lancome Effacernes Longue Tenue Long-lasting Softening Concealer

Superbly expensive at 56 bucks per tube. Superbly hydrating though. The Sales person/Beauty advisor told me that this is absolutely suitable for acne and acne scars. NOT. I personally feel that the Lancome sales people at Tang Orchard are SUPERBLY pragmatic and not keen to do me (and Nic's) business. No passion and cannot be bothered attitude. NOT to mention, the "you cannot afford it asshole" attitude. Not going to buy from them again. YUCKS.

Anyway, this concealer is suitable for under eye concealing in my case. Not too dry. Brightens up my eye area.

Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencil

LOVE this concealer for zits. It STAYS. Not VERY blendable though. But it doesn't aggrevate my zits. Conceal them fine. And STAYS! Not to mention at 28 bucks it is SO much more affordable than Lancome's. AND with better service as well. Love the cute and interesting packaging. =)

Okay. I am done with part 2. I am exhausted. Any requests thus far? Drop us some comments!

Till then,
J
